Body Image + Body Neutrality

Struggling with body image can mean feeling uncomfortable in your own skin, stuck in cycles of comparison, or at war with how your body looks or feels. These struggles often come from cultural pressures, past experiences, or messages you’ve absorbed over time — not from any fault of your own.

In therapy, we focus on creating a gentler, more accepting relationship with your body. Instead of forcing constant “body positivity,” we explore body neutrality — learning to respect your body for what it allows you to do, even if you don’t always love how it looks. Together, we’ll work toward more self-compassion, less shame, and greater freedom to live fully without being held back by body image concerns.
